According to a recently submitted permit application, Hamby’s — a craft brewery and restaurant in Boerne at 437 S. Main Street, near eateries such as Free Roam Brewing Company, The Creek, and The Dodging Duck Brewhaus & Restaurant — is planning to undergo renovations.
The filing discloses that the restaurant will expand by 580 square feet, with construction slated to begin on July 1 and finish in June 2025. For an estimated $174,000, the project will be carried out by local firm Ben Adam Architect, LLC.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Hamby’s, the eatery is known for serving craft beer alongside Smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, shoestring fries, onion rings, and milkshakes.
