Yozora Sake & Wine & Listening Bar will take over Suite 111 at 22211 W. I-10 in the Dominion Ridge shopping center — a spot formerly home to Cuppencake coffee shop — near eateries such as Aldo’s Ristorante Italiano, Kin Thai & Sushi, and La Fogata Comida.
“Sushi opens the gate for the Japanese experience,” Hwang tells the journal, adding, “But I want to give people a broader sense of what Japanese food is about.”
According to the report, offerings will include “crispy pork gyoza dumplings, chicken karaage, yellowtail crudo, tuna tartare, grilled chicken yakitori, pork belly yakitori, hot-rock beef tataki, and charcoal-grilled Chilean sea bass.”
Additionally, the sake menu will boast more than 30 labels from regions across Japan — and beer, wine, and sake cocktails will be served.
Yozora is slated to host its grand opening event in late December. Follow the eatery on Instagram in the meantime.
