“We’ve been keeping it lowkey. We signed all of our contracts in December, so we’ve tried to move swiftly and as fast as possible to get these places open,” a business representative tells MySA.

The first location — “a stop-and-go outpost” that will serve Mexican and Puerto Rican pastries alongside coffee-based beverages — is coming to 13777 Nacogdoches Road, where it will land near Arby’s, Pazzo Pastaria, and Pho La.

The second will be a collaboration with La Che Empanadas called Cafe Dos Hermanos by Sweet Baker and take over a space at 106 Michigan Avenue, neighboring establishments such as Martinex Barbacoa y Tamales, Pink Dreams Vintage, and The Wicked Wich.

Both locations have soft-opened. Stay tuned for information on when the businesses plan to begin operating at full capacity.
