Bourbon Street Seafood Kitchen, a local concept known for dishing out New Orleans-style cuisine, plans to expand its footprint in San Antonio.
According to a recently submitted permit application, a new outpost is coming to the Crescent Shopping Center at 25765 IH-10 West — landing just down the highway from popular eateries such as Bill Miller BBQ, Summer Moon Coffee, and Tacos VIP.
What Now San Antonio contacted Bourbon Street Seafood’s owner, Bagheri Morteza, to inquire about the expansion, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing offers some insight.
On April 15, construction of the new, 6,193-square-foot restaurant — which will include indoor and outdoor dining areas, a bar, a covered patio, and a waiting area — will begin, with plans to wrap up by April 15, 2025. For an estimated $2,400,000, local firm DTM Architects LLC will carry out the project.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the local chain, Bourbon Street Seafood is known for a menu that’s “inspired by the rich culinary traditions of New Orleans, featuring classic Cajun dishes such as gumbo, jambalaya, and po’boys.” The concept currently operates three locations in San Antonio.
