What Now San Antonio reached out to Pouring With Heart to inquire about the upcoming brewhouse, but representatives could not provide further information before publication.
Nevertheless, the General Manager of Idle Beer Hall & Brewery, Jessica Parr, tells San Antonio Report, “Idle will serve its own beers brewed in-house, some locally brewed beers, plus wine and cocktails… with food available for pickup from Make Ready.”
“I think when there’s a lot of like-minded people with like-minded businesses in an area, it’s more of an opportunity to help each other grow and kind of grow the neighborhood as a whole,” Parr adds, commenting on the Make Ready model.
For readers who aren’t familiar with Make Ready, the Hixon Properties-backed project is “nestled between Broadway and the San Antonio River” and will “feature eats and treats from San Antonio’s epicurean notables and new voices at the table,” according to the Make Ready website.
