What Now San Antonio reached out to the concept’s owner, Julie Li — who, alongside Dan Li, also operates Cajun Restaurants SA LLC — to inquire about the concept, but she could not provide additional information before the time of publication.

Nevertheless, the filing offers additional insight.

Renovations to the existing 7,044-square-foot spot are slated to begin on December 15 and finish in August 2025 and will cost an estimated $900,000 to complete.

Judging by the concept’s name, locals can likely expect Takumi Sushi & Bar to offer a selection of Japanese cuisine.

An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
