Speaking to What Now San Antonio, Bubba’s 33’s San Antonio market partner, Joseph Fain, expressed enthusiasm for the new location, stating “Brooks is a growing area of San Antonio. We already have a presence there with Texas Roadhouse, and we want to be in that market.”

Brooks representative Connie Gonzalez told MySA that the construction and opening date for Bubba’s 33 is still undetermined.

Bubba’s 33 has 27 operating locations spread across the United States. The Brooks location’s layout will differ from other Bubba’s 33 interiors, however the menu will remain the same. Fain stated that while “it will be different inside conceptually, we’ll continue to provide the same great food for all.”

Brooks, located at 3201 Sidney Brks Drive, is the continued development of the decommissioned Brooks Air Force Base. The multi-use community center plans to open a wide range of restaurants, including Outback Steakhouse, Pluckers Wing Bar, , BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Salad and Go, Dutch Bros. Coffee, MOD Pizza, Crumbl Cookies Dave’s Hot Chicken, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Snowy Village, and Stout House, in addition to Bubba’s 33.

Bubba’s 33 is a casual family dining establishment. The menu features traditional American fare. Bubba’s 33 offers salads, wings, pizza, burgers, desserts, and kids meals made fresh daily, from scratch.
