A new restaurant, Kumi Buffet, is coming to North San Antonio at 17333 San Pedro Avenue.
The 10,200-square-foot space is currently listed as home to China Harbor, and nearby establishments include Red Lobster, Days Inn & Suites, and Commercial Bank.
What Now San Antonio reached out to the owner Jiwei Zheng to inquire about the upcoming concept, but he was unable to provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, a recent permit application offers further insight.
The project is described as an “interior alteration to an existing restaurant” and is slated to begin in August, finishing in December. The job will be carried out by Louis Kong Architecture, LLC for an estimated $450,000.
