“With hearts full of gratitude, we enthusiastically extend our reach to our beloved community, whom we have had the honor of serving since 1986,” Acadiana owner Dave Saylor shares in a recent Facebook post.
Acadiana’s last day of service will be on August 29, after which its spot at 8610 Potranco Road will become home to the Hacienda Vallarta Restaurant Group, “which plans to open a buffet-style Mexican eatery.”
Acadiana’s management “plans to give Hacienda Vallarta ‘access to all the Acadiana Café recipes,’ including its catfish, chicken and dumplings, Cajun cabbage and red beans and rice,” according to SA Current.
For readers who are unfamiliar with Hacienda Vallarta, the business operates Hacienda Vallarta Mexican Buffet at 7200 Bandera Road.
An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
