According to a recently submitted permit application, a new eatery, Lupita Cantina, is planning to debut in San Antonio.
Coming to a 3,174-square-foot space at 2909 St Mary’s Street, the restaurant will land near establishments such as El Milagrito Cafe, Faust Tavern, and Tycoon Flats.
The concept’s owner, Fernando Menendez, tells What Now San Antonio that Lupita Cantina will open late next year.
Additionally, the filing reveals that the “renovation of [the] existing building and enclosing an existing patio” are scheduled to begin on February 24, 2025, and finish on July 31 — and will cost an estimated $255,000 to complete.
