According to a recently submitted permit application, Dave’s Hot Chicken is expanding its San Antonio-area presence, planning to debut a new outpost in Schertz next year.
Coming to 18476 IH 35 N, the eatery will land near establishments such as Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply, Parry’s Pizzeria & Taphouse, and The Magnolia Pancake Haus.
What Now San Antonio reached out to the outpost’s franchisee, Paul Gorman, to inquire about the upcoming spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing offers further insight, revealing that the finish-out of the existing 2,500-square-foot space is scheduled to begin on January 30 and finish on May 30, 2025. Irving, Texas-based firm ID Studio 4, LLC is tasked with carrying out the project for an estimated $400,000.
For readers who are unfamiliar Dave’s Hot Chicken, the business was founded in 2017, began franchising in 2019, and currently operates 100 locations nationwide as well as in Toronto.
