“The parent company of the NBA Spurs is extending its reach into the local culinary market, growing the program from eight to 12 diverse Alamo City restaurants that will have an opportunity to showcase their signature dishes inside the East Side arena,” the Journal reports.
One of these spots will belong to the local farmers’ market staple Crepelandia210.
For readers who are unfamiliar with The Spurs Culinary Residency Program, the associate director of culinary experience for SS&E, Kevin Barker, describes it as “more than just a showcase of delicious food; it’s a celebration of the stories and passion behind each local business.”
He continues, “By expanding the program and involving fans in the selection process, we want to highlight the unique narratives and culinary traditions that make San Antonio’s food scene so special.”
What Now San Antonio contacted the concept’s owner, Samuel Cabrera, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
