Taking over the former Greenhouse Coffee spot at 223 E. Hildebrand Avenue, Suite 101, the business will land near establishments such as Full Belly Cafe & Bar, Panchito’s Mexican Restaurant, and Volare Restaurant.
“Revolución’s website also lists the Olmos Park spot among its stores, which include an Alamo Heights flagship along with one each in downtown San Antonio and Austin,” the Journal reports.
The article continues, “A look through the window of the strip-center store made it apparent that Greenhouse’s fixtures and decor had been removed and work had begun refurbishing the store’s interior.”
For readers who are unfamiliar with Revolución, the eatery is known for its coffee-based beverages, juices, and breakfast tacos, as well as for giving back to the community — sharing on its website: “Our monthly operating expenses go back into the local economy by using local artisans and suppliers: Farm to Table, Bread Box, Goodflow Honey, Fiesta Tortilla, Village Farms, Soncrest Farms, and B. Catalani Produce which has been locally owned and operated in San Antonio for over 100 years.”
What Now San Antonio reached out to the concept’s owners, Angela and Manny Carral, to inquire about their plans for the shop, but they could not provide additional information before the time of publication.
An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
